Dakota Phoenix is Lisa's best friend, having known each other since they were both in elementary school. While Lisa chose to venture into the music industry, Dakota set her sights on the silver screen. At first all she got were small television parts and some supporting roles in a few indie or direct-to-DVD movies. Her big break came when she got the opportunity to be one of the main characters in a major motion picture. Sadly, after getting into a heated argument over refusing to wear a dress with the director and subsequently punching him out, she hasn't acted since. Around this time, Lisa decided to get away from the limelight and convinced Dakota to tag along; stating that some time off would do her some good.

In their little circle of friends, she is the tomboy, is incredibly opinionated and headstrong. She is very protective of her friends and believes that she can kick any guy's ass in a fight. In fact, she used to do all her own stunts in her movies. However, while Lisa is thoroughly enjoying her retreat from the world, Dakota is starting to get bored and yearns for some action. With her penchant for crazy ideas, this could only land the girls into a hot soup.
